1st annual Operation Cover & Comfort

On January 21st, Christian V.A.L.O.R took to the streets of San Antonio for our 1st annual Cover and Comfort sleeping bag distribution. Our mission was to provide warmth and comfort to those in need, and we were determined to make a difference in our community.

We managed to visit two locations in downtown San Antonio, and we were fortunate to link up with a few other Veteran support organizations. We would like to extend a special thank you to Broken Warriors’ Angels for allowing us to join their event. We were also grateful to network with other groups including Spread the Warmth and Broken Warriors’ Angels that share our passion for helping Veterans.

Our mission would not have been possible without the support of our dedicated volunteers. We would like to thank the members of Reagan Spirit dance for their time and effort in making this event a success. Their dedication and commitment to serving our community is truly inspiring.

We’re so thankful for the opportunity to serve and we’re very happy to say that twenty-five percent of what we distributed went to Veterans this morning. It was an honor to be able to give back to those who have sacrificed so much for our country.

As we look back on this successful event, we are already planning for next year’s Cover and Comfort distribution. We will continue to work towards our goal of providing warmth and comfort to those in need, and we are grateful for the support of our community. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of Veterans and others in need.
